The Overpowered 5-U-93-R is a piece of Legendary (5-Star) Gear, evolved from the Epic (4-Star) gear, 5-U-93-R Pill. The unevolved version can be obtained by ranking in the top 5% of certain Online Battle seasons, or as a possible reward in the Worst Heroes Ever Bundle, The Dawn of Justice Triple Pack, Nth Metal Pro Packs, or Nth Metal Ultimate Packs.

Power drain[]
Power drain on only applies on the last hit of the Combo Ender for those with multiple hits, with the exception of Deadshot/Suicide Squad, who applies it on the last 2 hits, and Darkseid/Apokolips if he gets his passive's life drain on combo ender, which applies it on both hits.
If the target initiates a special during the combo, the power drain will be negated. This is in contrast with Catwoman/Batman Ninja's passive, which can power drain on her basics even if her opponent is performing a special.
Basic damage reduction effects (e.g. Nightwing/Regime's passive) would also reduce the power drained by this effect, and Invulnerability negates it. However, if KO immunity (e.g. The Batman Who Laughs) or Fourth World Godly Chest Plate causes the hit to deal no damage, power can still be drained.
Life drain[]
Life drain and power drain on combo ender
Every hit in a Combo Ender has the individual chance to activate the life drain. When triggered, it heals for 100% of that hit.
This life drain stacks with Gauntlets of Azrael's life drain, so a hit that triggers both can heal for 200% of its damage. However, Gauntlets of Azrael's heal team effect only applies to Gauntlet's own life drain.
If Fourth World Godly Chest Plate causes the hit to deal no damage, life drain can still be triggered and it would heal for the damage the hit would have done.
Invulnerability prevents the life drain. This mostly applies for enemy only, because player can't execute combo ender against an enemy protected by invulnerability, unless a multi-hit combo ender trigger invulnerability along the way.
Strategy[]
The Overpowered 5-U-93-R is a strong, offensive upgrade to the Gauntlets of Azrael. Instead of health, it grants sizable boosts to basic attack damage and crit chance, which synergizes with the life drain, although it cannot heal the team like the Gauntlets can. It also combines the power drain on combo ender effect of Ra's Al Ghul's Scimitar, meaning it could mostly duplicate both combo ender gears effect in one slot, especially if you don't find the bar of starting Power critical. Similar to the Gauntlets, it is devastating when used on characters with highly damaging combo enders, such as Jessica Cruz/Rebirth, Green Arrow/Rebirth and Deathstroke/Flashpoint. It also performs decently on Catwoman/Batman Ninja when put together with other basic attack damage or crit chance boosting gears, as a large part of her passive revolves around basic attacks, especially when teamed with Batman/Batman Ninja. You can use both gears on the same character and they do stack, resulting in massive life drain.
It is an reliable way to apply power drain on characters that can evade/negate specials such as Batman/Dawn of Justice and Superman/Injustice 2, since SP1 is a common way to drain power that is resisted by those characters. It can also help its users deal great amounts of damage without using specials, bypassing their special attack evasion or immunity.
This gear is especially useful in Online Battle defense as the AI can perform combo enders regardless of the player blocking.

- This gear is a reference to the console game's story, in which 5-U-93-R is a super pill taken to greatly enhance strength and endurance, an in-game justification for how characters like Batman can trade punches with the likes of Superman. The name is also leetspeak for "super".
- Despite being a 5-star gear, it provides less basic damage boost than other 4-star ones, such as Blade of The War God.
