The League of Assassins Adept Hood is a piece of Legendary (5-Star) Gear, evolved from the Epic (4-Star) gear, League of Assassins Hood. The unevolved version can be obtained from the Last Laugh minigame in Survivor Mode. It is part of the League of Assassins Set (along with the Blade and the Knives) which gains additional properties if 2 or 3 pieces are equipped to the same character.

Mechanics[]
Batman disables enemy specials with his SP1.
The disable special effect is applied in the first hit of a SP1. Only a unblocked hit can disable special. It can't disable Super Move unlike other gears.
Strategy[]
A useful gear for every character. The crit chance on basic attacks works wonder with characters having powerful basic attacks like Batman/Flashpoint or Superman/New 52, and even more effective with the crit damage boost. Special attacks with high crit chance such as Deathstroke/Arkham Origins's SP1, Batman Beyond/Animated's SP2 or Hawkgirl/Regime's SP2 can also be empowered through crit damage boost. The special disabling effect is a great defensive tool against characters that can't be power drained such as Static/Prime or LexCorp Set's wielders..
With 2/3 set equipped, wielders can steal tag-out enemies' power for a short time after their tag-in. Combining with League of Assassins Adept Knives can be a deadly combo for Sinestro/Antimatter to use, who can force opponents to tag-out immediately with his SP1. Scorpion/Mortal Kombat X is a good candidate for the Hood + Blade combo as Scorpion's DOT can crit, including DOT from the Blade, and if enemies tag-out to escape the powerful DOT, they will have their power stolen. Trivia[]
- It is the third piece of gear to offer non-character-specific crit boost, after Cloak of Destiny and LexCorp Helmet Armor V2. Unlike the other two though, it starts at 10% crit boost rather than 30%. However, since the hood gains 2% for every upgrade instead of 1%, they all arrive at 50% crit boost at maximum.
- It's the only gear to give both crit chance and crit damage boosts in one gear piece to all characters.
