The starting and persistent animations of Militarized Batmobile's invulnerability.
Invulnerability prevents the user from taking any damage from basic attacks, specials, super moves, or enemy passives.

Mechanics[]
Prevented by invulnerability[]
- All forms of status effects, except for damage over time effects that are applied before the invulnerability, which is not cleansed and would resume affecting them after the invulnerability wears off, if the duration permits (the DOT continues to run during the invulnerability, it simply does no damage).
- Superman/Dawn of Justice's gear shatter. However, if the hit that shatters gear is the same hit that would trigger Astro-Harness' invulnerability, his passive takes priority and would prevent invulnerability from activating. On the other hand, the Astro-Harness' Power Shield will have priority over gear shatter in a similar scenario, activating before the gear can be disabled; an already active Power Shield is also unaffected by gear shatter.
- Ares/Prime's block disable and Killer Frost's Deep Freeze being applied; if applied prior to invulnerability, they are not cleansed.
- Gear-based special disables or Area Effect (e.g. Fourth World Godly Mace, League Of Assassins Adept Knives).
- Passive-based Area Effect: Harley Quinn/Suicide Squad's C4 bomb (when teamed with Deadshot), The Joker/Batman Ninja's Gunners' passive, but not Deadshot/Arkham Origins's passive (which still damages teammates of an invulnerable opponent).
- Consumable defensive effects (Black Adam/Regime, Superman/Injustice 2, Aquaman/Flashpoint passives) are not spent while protected by invulnerability on the same character.
- Diablo Companion Card EVOLVED does not activate if equipped on the invulnerable character.
- Ares/The Merciless Metal being hit while invulnerable does not reset his passive, but he can gain passive stacks hitting invulnerable opponents.
- Enchantress Companion Card EVOLVED won't trigger the skulls if the special is used during invulnerability.

Ignores invulnerability[]
- Raven/Prime's health swap.
- Disable special from passives or handicaps in battles.
- Special-inherent Area Effect (such as those from Darkseid/Apokolips, The Arkham Knight, Reverse Flash's special 2) is unaffected (primary target still takes no damage, but teammates will take damage as normal).
- Blinks (Mother Box, Riddler's Staff, The Flash/Wally West Rebirth, Batman/Dawn of Justice) may still take effect on the same character.
- Sinestro/Antimatter forcing the opponent to tag out.
- Hawkgirl/Prime and Jessica Cruz/Rebirth's snares.
- If DOT were applied before invulnerability is triggered, they continued to be attached; even though they do no damage, they will still dampen power generation (most noticeable when numerous DOT are stacked).
- Disable Gear effects from Claw of Horus, Catwoman/Batman Ninja and Solomon Grundy/Earth 2.
- The Flash/Earth 2's tag-in stun.
- If a power drain attack simultaneously triggers invulnerability, the power drain will take priority and drain power before the invulnerability activates.
Other[]
- If a character is stunned and the next hit they receive triggers their invulnerability, they may remain stunned.
- It is possible for invulnerability to be triggered while blinking against a special (as DoT continues to run through the blink).
- If an invulnerability period has a starting or ending animation, the start/end of the effect takes place right at the beginning of the animation.
- Raven/Teen Titans can apply her passive against enemy protected by invulnerability if her specials KO the previous opponent and the next one tags in. Using a special against invulnerability will not trigger her passive, however.
- Tantu Totem will restore power back if special deals no damage because of invulnerability.

Trivia[]
