Protective Shield: Green Lantern gives himself and his teammates a 5% INCREASE to their MAXIMUM HEALTH. |
Strategy[]
Basic Attacks[]
Basic combo | Damage pattern (% of damage stat) | Total (including Combo Ender) |
---|---|---|
Light (Combo Ender) | 2% - 2% - 2% - 2% - (3%) | 11% |
Heavy | 4% - 4% - 4% | 12% |
Passive[]
Green Lantern New 52 might be one of the better Bronze characters. Having a passive that boosts health, along with great damage make this one of the best cards to have on a purely Bronze team. He can be easily unlocked by logging in to a WBID account, and has the highest combined base stats of any Bronze card.
Due to his SP2's poor damage (see below), it is recommended to focus on his SP1.
Interactions[]
Please note that battles are highly situational: this section only mentions cards that have mechanics that, for any reason, are particularly effective with/against, or particularly ineffective against Green Lantern. Having a card that "counters" Green Lantern does not mean it is always a good choice.
Good With[]
- Characters with low heath: While his passive may not seem like a lot, 5% is more than a difference between winning or losing.
- Nightwing/Prime: Green Lantern's passive combined with Nightwing's passive will allow Nightwing to take more hits.
- Cyborg/Prime: His passive can boost Cyborg's already high health, combined with his own passive, making him a great tank.
- Lex Luthor/Insurgency: Both teamed up can provide a 30% health boost to the whole team.
Good Against[]
Countered By[]
- Characters or Gears dealing damage based on health percentage: His passive mean nothing to them as they can take out a large portion of health.
Abilities[]
Here are Green Lantern's abilities.
Ability | Classification | Description | Usage |
---|---|---|---|
Turbine Smash | First Special | Green Lantern materializes a jet turbine engine, then slams it into his target. | Rapid Tap |
Grand Slam | Second Special | Green Lantern shares his love of sports with his unsuspecting victim. CHANCE TO STUN. | Swipe (x3), Quick Tap |
Beware My Power | Super Move | Green Lantern unleashes a beatdown through the power of his ring. UNBLOCKABLE. | Tap |
Grand Slam does less damage than stated. It is less than it would have been even when the stun damage penalty have been taking into account. Normally, a SP2, prior to upgrades, does 60%-120% of damage, and a stun SP2 does 30%-60% (as his card states). However, Grand Slam only does (estimated) 5.45%-47% damage. The special has 4 hits. During the special, you must swipe in the correct direction 3 times, then rapid tap in the circle. If you miss any of the swipes, the special stops after the next hit (e.g. if you don't swipe at all, you only get 1 hit). The first 3 hits deal fixed damage, adding up to about 16.4% of his damage stat, with the last hit determined by the rapid tap for 15.45%-30.9% of his damage stat.

The Elite 10 damage and health levels are for level 60 characters. Numbers with a * after them may not be accurate, please allow for a discrepancy of '+1/-1' damage or health due to rounding inconsistencies in game code.

- Although he has higher total base stats than Deathstroke/Insurgency (who has 470), he costs same as much as Deathstroke.
