Clark Kent's Glasses is Superman's signature Gear, it is a piece of Epic (4-Star) gear, evolved from the Rare (3-Star) gear, Glasses. The unevolved version can be obtained randomly from the Dawn of Justice Gear Locker.
It can also be obtained by purchasing the Character Bundle Batman Vs Superman.

Strategy[]
When maxed, it is the only gear that guarantees a Disable Special effect, as long as it isn't blocked.
Like many on-special hit effects, The Master's Death Cart's tag in damage can apply this Disable Special, if a special 1 is used right after tag in. This may actually be detrimental as Clark Kent's Glass can only apply Disable Special once per special; if Death Cart's damage applies it, then KO'es an opponent, the remaining hit(s) of Flying Punch cannot apply Disable Special, even at 100% chance. This usually only applies for 3-hit Flying Punch, for the 1-hit version is too short, usually the punch won't hit the next opponent at all if Death Cart disables specials and then KO'es. For a 3-hit Flying Punch, without Death Cart, if the first hit of Flying Punch KO'es, this doesn't consume Disable Special, the second hit will miss but the third hit can still apply it on the next opponent.
It is well-suited to Superman/Dawn of Justice, as his passive has a chance of disabling gear, which couples with Disable Special to severely cripple an opponent.
It is also decent on Superman/Injustice 2, working well with his passive letting him be immune to one special per tag in; Disable Special may force his opponent to use special 2 instead of special 1, costing twice as much power but makes no difference for Superman to negate. Superman/New 52 is another good user of this gear, the power boost can help him activate his passive easier, and 3-hit SP1 can make good uses of 2 other effects.
It has some synergy with Superman/Blackest Night as Batman/Blackest Night gives his attacks a chance to be Unblockable on each hit. A block breaking hit would be able to apply Disable Special.
For non-Superman users, it is functionally identical to Hyperspeed Plated Suit.
