Black Adam Prime, despite being one of the less popular Silver cards, is one of the two most expensive. His special 2 is a power drain, unlike most special power drains which occur as special 1's, making it generally much less practical. His special 1 has a very slow starting animation and can be tricky to land unblocked. Nevertheless, he has the single highest damage stat out of all silver cards, which can lead to good results with the crit and life drain on special 1 from his gear, as well as having the tied highest total base stats with Doomsday/Regime.

Passive[]
When hit by enemy basics, specials or supers, his passive deals 50% of the same damage back to his opponent while it lasts (this is not the same as "reflect damage", as Black Adam's damage taken is not reduced), useful when trading Basic attacks or when taking unavoidable special damage. This can KO an opponent if their health is low enough if they use basic attacks or super moves against it.
Invulnerability effects, such as Green Lantern/John Stewart's passive, as well as the invulnerability offered during his own special attacks' animation, will take precedence over his passive.
Interactions[]
Please note that battles are highly situational: this section only mentions cards that have mechanics that, for any reason, are particularly effective with/against, or particularly ineffective against Black Adam. Having a card that "counters" Black Adam does not mean it is always a good choice.
Good With[]
- Hawkgirl/Prime: Her passive lets Black Adam tag in and out more frequently, replenishing his aura more often.
Good Against[]
- Nightwing/New 52: If Black Adam still has his Lightning Aura activated, tagging in Nightwing is not a good idea. Since Nightwing's basic attacks are boosted, this also means that he will do more damage to himself as well as get interrupted, opening himself to Black Adam's attacks.
- The Flash/Regime: Black Adam's passive can interrupt Flash's basic attacks.
- Bane/Luchador, The Flash/Earth 2, and Cloak of Destiny: Their tag-in stuns can put Black Adam in a vulnerable state for a deadly special attack, but they in turn receive a massive damage from his shield.
Countered By[]
- Nightwing/Regime: Nightwing's SP2 has a lot of hits which can consume Black Adam's shield, while receiving only miniscule damage back.
- Raven/Prime: His shield can trigger her dangerous health swap, especially since shield's damage cannot KO.
- Harley Quinn/Arkham Knight: If Harley is tagged out and Black Adam tags in, should her passive activate, she would use up his shield without damaging her team whatsoever.
- The Master's Death Cart: When another character is tagged in with The Master's Death Cart, the hail of ~10 bullets will damage Black Adam while destroying all orbs of his passive. It is important to note that even though his passive usually deals damage when each of the orbs are hit, The Master's Death Cart will remove all of them without dealing damage to the character as it does not count as an attack from said character per say.

Trivia[]
Black Adam knocks out an opponent with his aura shield.
- Black Adam/New 52's (25%-100%) chance to perform lightning damage assist on opponent Tag-In will deplete one of Black Adam's lightning orbs but Black Adam/New 52 will still take damage even if he is tagged out when his lightning damage assists activates; this will be shown as a quick red slash across his character icon.
- His passive was not changed when Black Adam/Regime, who has a very similar passive, was updated.
