Not to be confused with update 3.0.1

Title update 3.0 was released on October 11th, 2018. It ties in to the Dark Multiverse in DC comics, it was supposed to be released in September 2018 but was postponed for unknown reasons. It introduced the following:

Other changes

• The Injustice Mobile icon is changed to The Batman Who Laughs’s face in front of a blood moon.
• A new tier of character cards known as Nth Metal (Tier) are introduced, which surpasses the Gold characters and has additional mechanics such as Dark Power and an upgradeable passive ability.
• There are two new currencies called Nth Metal and Valorium Alloy.
• There is a bug that causes no starting power in any match. This includes Ra's Al Ghul's Scimitar, Batgirl/Prime, and Batman/Arkham Origins. It only affects the player's side. This was fixed in 3.0.1.
• There's also a power lock bug that affects all characters, most notably Batman/Arkham Knight, where they couldn't generate power to access their currently unlocked special if their power has reached 99% of that SP. For Batman/Arkham Knight's case, if he has some power beforehand, his power added buff will be bugged and will only trigger after using a special. If not, it'll just lock his power generation.
• Promoting characters now has a new look. It shows how many credits you have when promoting.
• The icons representing Special Attacks 1 & 2 have a new appearance.
• The Power bar is smaller than before.
• Batman/Gaslight can no longer throw his grenade if he knocks out an opponent, only if they tag in.
• Like Killer Frost/Prime before him, The Merciless' damage on his SP2 upon usage incorrectly states "300%" as opposed to the usual "200%". This was fixed in patch 3.0.1.
• The purple bar which represents the Necrotic damage done by Superman/Blackest Night currently does NOT display visually with the exception of Aquaman/Prime’s Atlantean Soldier, although Superman CAN STILL deal Necrotic damage as usual.
• Raven/Rebirth’s passive sometimes does not work for the AI. Whether this is a bug or if it has been nerfed to a chance passives is unknown.
• Some players are experiencing an odd bug in which the presence of The Joker/Unhinged Suicide Squad on either teams will cause the game to temporarily freeze after the battle starts before turning back to normal.
• The Tantu Totem can no longer return power on resurrection.
• On Android, Doomsday/Prime's passive now bypasses The Joker/Prime and The Joker/Insurgency's passives.
